Paws for Love Assistance Dog Program This Very Special Project of the SW Florida Professional Dog Trainers Alliance sets the Gold Standard for Community Service by providing guidance to those seeking the companionship and service of an assistance dog. The Dogs Our trainers assess and identify potential canine particpants at the Humane Society Naples and through other local rescue organizations. Canine candidates may also be donated by private sponsors. Services Dedicated to Children Our program places special emphasis on helping children that are challenged by Autism or other devlopmental disabilities. Other Services Our clients have a proven financial need as well as a qualifying challenge and would benefit from the assistance of a trained canine companion. Training The training program is specifically designed to meet the needs of each client and each dog entrusted to our care. We are also proud of the fact that other organizations such as Horizon Service Dogs and Northstar Foundation have entrusted us to assist in the training of their puppies. Funding This program is funded in part by a generous contribution from the Kvetko Family Foundation in honor of their lovely companion - Diva Danielle.
